POWERGRID Eligibility Criteria: POWERGRID Diploma Trainee Educational Qualifications:

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): A three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 70% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS applicants. Higher qualifications (such as B.Tech or M.Tech) are not permitted.
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): A three-year diploma in Civil Engineering with 70% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS applicants.
3. Junior Officer Trainee (HR): A three-year full-time bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields with a minimum of 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates.
4. Junior Officer Trainee (F&A): Inter CA/Inter CMA qualification required, with no allowance for postgraduate or higher qualifications.
5. Assistant Trainee (F&A): A B.Com degree with at least 60% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates. Higher qualifications are not eligible.

Age Limits (as of November 12, 2024):

• Maximum age for all positions: 27 years
• Age relaxations available for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (up to 15 years based on category), and ex-servicemen as per government policy.

POWERGRID Diploma trainee Salary:

• Diploma Trainee (Electrical, Civil), Junior Officer Trainee (HR, F&A): During training: ₹24,000-3%-₹108,000 (IDA); post-training: ₹25,000-3%-₹117,500 (IDA).
• Assistant Trainee (F&A): During training: ₹21,500-3%-₹74,000 (IDA); post-training: ₹22,000-3%-₹85,000 (IDA).

Selection Process: Candidates will undergo a written or computer-based test for all positions. For Junior Officer Trainee (HR, F&A) and Assistant Trainee (F&A) roles, a qualifying computer skill test will follow the written test. Application Fee:

• For Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee roles: ₹300 for General candidates, with no fee for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwBD candidates.
• For Assistant Trainee (F&A) role: ₹200 for General candidates, with no fee for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwBD candidates.
• Payment is to be made online.
