Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Group ‘C’, Level 4/Level 5:

• Graduation or its equivalent from a government-recognized University/Institution.

Group ‘C’, Level 2/Level 3:

• Class 12th (10+2) or its equivalent from a government-recognized Board/Institution OR
• Matriculation with completed Act Apprenticeship OR ITI OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Group ‘D’, Level 1:

• 10th Class pass or equivalent OR ITI or NAC from a recognized board/institution.

Minimum Sports Achievements:

• Only those sports persons who have achieved the eligibility norms in recognized events on or after April 1, 2022, will be considered eligible.

Age Limit (As of January 1, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

Selection Process:

1. Sports Trials
2. Evaluation of Sports Achievements, game skills, physical fitness, and coach’s observations during trials
3. Educational Qualification

Application Fee:

• General / OBC / EWS candidates: Rs. 500 (Refundable Rs. 400 if eligible and appear in the trial)
• SC, ST, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250 (Refundable)
