- Mine Foreman-I (NE-08) – A valid Mine Foreman’s certificate, Second Class Managers certificate, or First Class Managers certificate of competency (unrestricted) is required, as well a diploma in mining and mine surveying.
- Sel. Gr. Mine Foreman (NE-09) – Having a current Mine Foreman’s Certificate, Second Class, or First Class Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) and a B.E./B.Tech in mining or an equivalent
- Mine Mate Gr.-I (NE-05) – ii) Having a current Mine Mate Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) and passing the SSC
- Blaster Gr.-II (NE-04) – Blaster’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted), SSC Pass
