Puducherry CGL Upper Division Clerk Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Statistical Inspector – Post Graduate Degree from recognized University in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics or its equivalent
2. Library and Information Assistant -Degree from a recognized University; and Degree in Library Information Science from a recognized University
3. Agriculture Officer – Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized University/institution or equivalent
4. Technical Officer – Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial/ Production Engineering / Chemical / Electrical /Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Textiles from a recognized Board or University; and Practical experience in a workshop or factory for a period not less than two years. Desirable: – Degree in Mechanical / Chemical /Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Industrial / Production Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Textiles from a recognized University
5. Agriculture Officer (Engineering) – Degree in Agriculture or Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized University or
   equivalent (or) Diploma in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; and 2 years’ experience with proficiency in soil conservation/bore well sinking/repairs to Agricultural machinery
6. Agriculture Officer (Hydrogeology) – Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology of a recognized University or equivalent; (or) Diploma in Geology or Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad.
7. Upper Division Clerk – Degree of a recognized University
8. Field Supervisor – A degree of a recognized university in Economics / Statistics / Maths or its equivalent
