📘 Eligibility Criteria

1. Agniveer (General Duty): Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as above, will be considered. Indian Gorkhas – Class 10th simple pass. Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) / Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
2. Agniveer (Technical): 10+2/Intermediate Exam passed in Science with Physics, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Maths & English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of one year in any field with NSQF level 4 or above. OR Passed two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects viz Physics and Mathematics from Education Board recognized by Central/State/UT Government with 50% marks in aggregate. The field for vocational subjects (NEP 2020) to be related to Science and Tech as mentioned below 10th/Matric pass with 50% in aggregate and minimum 40% in English, Maths and Science with two years of Technical Training from ITI or two/three years Diploma in certain streams i.e.: – (Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, Electronic Mechanic, Technician Power Electronic Systems, Electrician, Fitter, Instrumental Mechanic, Draughtsman (All types), Surveyor, Geo Informatics Assistant, Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance, Information Technology, Mechanic Cum Operator Electric Communication System, Vessel Navigator, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Instrumental Technology)
3. Agniveer (Clerk & Store Keeper Technical): 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory
4. Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms): Simple 10th pass (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in five basic subjects)
