Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for Staff Selection Commission:
- Assistant Audit Officer (Central Cadre): Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or Institute. Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or master’s in commerce or master’s in business studies or master’s in business administration (Finance) or master’s in business economics
- Assistant Audit Officer (State Cadre): Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or Institute. Proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State, i.e. ability to read, write, speak and understand the language with proficiency at matriculation level. Candidates must possess a certificate of proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State concerned at the level of Secondary School Examination from a recognized State/Central Board of Education. Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary (CS) or M.Com or master’s in business studies or master’s in business administration (MBA) (Finance) or master’s in business economics.
- Assistant Accounts Officer (State Cadre): Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in any Stream from an accredited University or Institute. Proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State, i.e. ability to read, write, speak and understand the language with proficiency at matriculation level. Candidates must possess a certificate of proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State concerned at the level of Secondary School Examination from a recognized State/Central Board of Education. - Junior Statistical Officer: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from an accredited University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Demography or Population Studies or Operation Research or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Application or Data Science or Artificial Intelligence from an accredited University or recognized Institute.
- All other Posts: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or equivalent.
