Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for Central University of Tamil Nadu:

• Consultant (Civil) – First Class bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized University. With 20 years of Engineering experience or more and retired at the level of Executive Engineer/equivalent cadre [Pay Level 10 or 11] or above, retired from Central/State Govt. / PSU/ Govt. autonomous bodies. Desirable: Experience of Civil works, designing, estimation, construction management of large projects, etc., as relevant to the specialization of the person. Experience of coordinating with multi-disciplinary planning consultants, architects, and construction agencies. Proven track record of handling construction projects in reputed organization of relevant magnitude and qualities. Preference would be given to applicants having experience in Higher Education University / Centrally Funded Technical University or Reputed Educational University
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ University with one-year relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering in the Civil Engineering with three years’ experience in relevant field Central PWD / State PWD or Similar Organized Services / Statutory or Autonomous Organizations / Central/State Universities / Autonomous Institutions or reputed Private construction company with annual turnover of Rs.200 crores.
• Technical Assistant (Electrical) – Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in (Electrical Engineering) in relevant field from a recognized University/ University and C-License holder with one year relevant experience (like Operation and maintenance of 11 KV substation, etc.,) OR Diploma in Engineering in the (Electrical Engineering) relevant field and C-License holder with three years’ experience (like Operation and maintenance of 11 KV substations, etc.,) in relevant field, Central CPWD/ State PWD or Similar Organized Services / Statutory or Autonomous Organisations / Central / State Universities / Autonomous Institutions or reputed Private construction company with annual turnover of Rs. 200 Crores
• Technical Assistant (HVAC) – Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in (Mechanical Engineering) in relevant field from a recognized University/ University with one year relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering in the (Mechanical Engineering/Air Conditioner and Refrigeration) relevant field and three years’ experience in relevant field Central PWD/ State PWD or Similar Organised Services / Statutory or Autonomous Organisations / Central/State Universities / Autonomous Institutions or reputed Private construction company with annual turnover of Rs.200 crores.

TN OSC Age Limit:

• Consultant (Civil) – Maximum 65 Years
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – Maximum 35 Years
• Technical Assistant (Electrical) – Maximum 30 Years
• Technical Assistant (HVAC) – Maximum 30 Years
