Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication):
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.
- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), B.E. in relevant fields, or equivalent qualification.
Head Constable (Telecommunication):
- 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; or
- 10th pass with a two-year ITI certificate in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer; or
- 10th pass with Science (PCM) and a three-year Diploma in Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, or related fields.
Constable (Telecommunication):
- 10th pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Desirable: Diploma or certificate from a recognized ITI or equivalent.
Age Limit (as of December 14, 2024):
- Sub-Inspector: 20 to 25 years
- Head Constable: 18 to 25 years
- Constable: 18 to 23 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government norms
Salary Details
- Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Level 6)
- Head Constable (Telecommunication): ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level 4)
- Constable (Telecommunication): ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Level 3)
Selection Process
- Phase I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Phase II: Written Exam, Document Verification, and Medical Examination
- Phase III: Certificate Verification
- Phase IV: Final Medical Examination
