📘 Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Assistant: Passed 10th Standard
2. Store Keeper: Passed 10th Standard
3. Typist – Passed 10th in recognized school, Must have passed the Govt Technical Test in Typewriting; by Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) by Higher / Senior grade in Tamil and Lower / Junior Grade in English (or) by Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower / Junior Grade in Tamil, A pass in Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the DOTE, Government of Tamil Nadu.
4. Skilled Assistant Grade – II – An Industrial Training Institute Certificate / National Trade Certificate/ National Apprentice-ship Training Certificate in the appropriate trade: Textile Lab, Weaver Trade, Knitter (Hosiery Trade), Mechanic Maintenance (Textile Machinery Trade), Applied Mechanics; Hydraulics; Strength of Materials; Chemistry and Physics Laboratories, Fitter Trade, General Mechanics Trade, Heat Engines Laboratory, Mechanic (Diesel), Mechanic (Tractor), I.C.Engine Trade, Automobile Trade, Mechanic (M.V) Trade
5. Laboratory Assistant – An Industrial Training Institute Certificate / National Trade Certificate/ National Apprentice-ship Training Certificate in the appropriate trade: Textile Lab, Weaver Trade, Knitter (Hosiery Trade), Mechanic Maintenance (Textile Machinery Trade), Applied Mechanics; Hydraulics; Strength of Materials, Chemistry and Physics Laboratories, Fitter Trade, General Mechanics Trade, Heat Engines Laboratory, Mechanic (Diesel), Mechanic (Tractor), I.C.Engine Trade, Automobile Trade, Mechanic (M.V) Trade
6. Lecturer (Mechanical Engineering) – B.E/ B.Tech/B.S in concerned Stream with First class or equivalent OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in concerned Streams with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.
7. Lecturer (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) – B.E/ B.Tech/B.S in concerned Stream with First class or equivalent OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in concerned Streams with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.
8. Lecturer (Design & Drafting) – B.E/ B.Tech/B.S in concerned Stream with First class or equivalent OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in concerned Streams with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.
9. Lecturer (Textile Technology) – B.E/ B.Tech/B.S in concerned Stream with 1st class or equivalent OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in concerned Streams with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.
10. Lecturer (Mathematics) – Master’s degree in appropriate subject with 1st Class or equivalent OR A Master’s degree with 1st or equivalent in a concerned subject and must have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar Examination accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET
11. 11. Lecturer (Physics) – Master’s degree in appropriate subject with 1st Class or equivalent OR A Master’s degree with 1st or equivalent in a concerned subject and must have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar Examination accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET
12. Librarian – Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. Qualifying in the National Level test conducted for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC OR A Master’s degree with 1st Class or equivalent and have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar Examination accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
