Sashastra Seema Bal (Central Government) has released the SSB Constable Recruitment 2026 Notification Announced for 827 vacancies including candidates for the post of Constables (Veterinary, Driver, Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Carpenter and Nursing Orderly) posts. Constables – (Veterinary)- (i) 10th class pass with science as main subject from a recognized Board, (ii) One year experience in treatment of different species of animals, in a recognized Veterinary Hospital. i) 10th class pass from a recognized Board
Constables – (Driver)- (i) 10th class pass from a recognized Board ii) Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
Constables – (Gardener)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Water Carrier)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Cobbler)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Tailor)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Washerman)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Barber)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Waiter)- 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following: 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
Constables – (Carpenter)- (i) 10th class pass from a recognized Board; (b) two years’ work experience in Trade or one year ITI certificate course from a recognized OR two years Diploma from ITI
Constables – (Nursing Orderly) – (i) 10th class pass with science from a recognized Board; (ii) First Aid certificate course from St. John’s Ambulance Organization or Red Cross Society of India; and (iii) minimum one year Experience
