CCRUM Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine:

• Research Officer (Unani) – Essential: Post Graduate Degree (MD or MS) in Unani System of Medicine from any University/ Institution recognized by NCISM (Formerly known as CCIM). Enrolment on the Central Registrar of NCISM/CCIM or State Register of Unani/ISM.
• Research Officer (Pathology) – Essential: M.D. in Pathology from an MCI recognized University/Institution. Enrolment on the Central Register of MCI or State Register of Medical Council.
• Research Officer (Physiology) – Essential: Master’s degree in molecular biology/ biotechnology/ human Genetics/ Genetics Engineering from an accredited University/ Institution. 03 years’ experience after obtaining master’s degree in relevant subject in an accredited/ Registered Research/Academic Institution/ Laboratory/ Industry. OR Ph.D. after master’s degree in above subject/areas. Desirable: Experience in molecular techniques, Next generation sequencing, Data Analysis and Disease Biology, Recombinant DNA techniques and Methods of studying Protein properties and functions, Microscopy, Cell Culture Techniques.
• Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology) – Essential: M.Sc in Pharmacology or; M.V. Sc Degree from an accredited University/Institution. Aptitude for research in the line. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/ Arabic/Persian.
• Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy/Botany) – Essential: Master’s Degree in the concerned Discipline from an accredited University/ Institution. Three years Research/Teaching experience in the concerned discipline after obtaining master’s degree in an accredited Institution / College/University. OR Ph.D in the concerned discipline from an accredited University/ Institution. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/ Arabic/Persian.
• Staff Nurse – Essential: (i) B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing from an accredited University or Institute; OR Regular Course in B.Sc
  Nursing from an accredited University or Institute; OR Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from an accredited University or Institute; and (ii) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Mid-wife (RN or RN & RM) with State Nursing Council OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an accredited Board or Council  (iii) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Mid-Wife(RN or RN &RM) from State Nursing Council; (iv) One year’s experience in minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned at II(i) above. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu, Arabic & Persian
• Accounts Officer (HQ) – Essential: Degree from an accredited University/Institute. 3 years’ experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body
• Research Assistant (Chemistry) – Essential: (a) Post Graduate degree in the concerned discipline from an accredited University/Institution. ⚫ (b) Aptitude for Research. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/ Arabic/Persian.
• Research Assistant (Botany) – Essential: (a) Post Graduate degree in the concerned discipline from an accredited University/ Institution. ( b) Aptitude for Research. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/ Arabic/Persian.
• Investigator (Statistics) – Essential: Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics with Statistics as one of the subjects from an accredited University/ Institution. 3 years’ experience in statistical work involving collection, compilation, interpretation of statistical data preferably in the field of medical and health statistics in an accredited Institution. OR Ph.D in Statistics from an accredited University/ Institution. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/ Arabic/ Persian; Knowledge of Computer.
• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) – Essential: Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science with 2 years relevant experience.
• Library and Information Assistant (LIA): Essential: Degree from an accredited Institution/University; Degree in Library Science from an accredited Institution/University. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/Arabic/Persian Knowledge of Computer.
• Proofreader – Essential: Degree of an accredited University; Diploma in Books publishing/production or Marketing or Printing Technology of one year duration from an accredited University/Institution 3 years’ experience in the line. Desirable: Knowledge of Persian, Arabic and Unani Literature.
• Hindi Assistant – Essential: Degree of an accredited University; Adequate knowledge of Hindi equal to the Hindi standard A examination of an Indian University. Competency in English to Hindi translation and vice versa, to be verified through a formal test. • OR Post Graduate Qualification in Hindi with ability to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa • Desirable: Knowledge of Computer
• Pharmacist – Essential: (a) 10+2 with science from recognized Board/Institution. (b) Two years Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited Institution(c) Registration with the State/ Central Pharmacy Council.
• Social Worker – Essential: (a) Degree from an accredited University (b) Diploma in Social Work from an accredited University/Institution; (c) One year experience in Social Work in an accredited Institution/Hospital OR Master’s Degree in Sociology from an accredited University
• Radiographer – Essential: a) 10+2 with science subjects from an accredited Board/Institution. (b) Two years Diploma or Certificate in Radiography from an accredited Institution (c) One year experience in Radiography from an accredited Hospital or Medical Institute.
• Compounder – Essential: (a) Matric or equivalent from an accredited Board/Institution. (b) Certificate of training as Compounder in Unani System of Medicine of minimum of one year duration from an accredited Institution. (c) 2 years’ experience preferably in the Dispensary/Hospital of Unani System of Medicine. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/Arabic/Persian.
• Stenographer Grade-III – Essential: (a) Matric or equivalent from an accredited Board/Institution. (b) Ability to write Shorthand at speed 80 wpm and typewriting at 40 wpm as evidenced by test. (c) Working knowledge of handling of Computer.Desirable: Degree of an accredited University.
• Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – Essential: Degree from an accredited University. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – Essential: (a) 179th Class or equivalent qualification from an accredited Board or University  (b) A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer Desirable: Knowledge of Computer
• Staff Car Driver – Essential: (a) Pass in Matriculation (10th Standard) from an accredited Board/Institution. (b) Possession of valid driving license for Motor Cars/LMV. (c) Experience of driving a motor car for at least 03 years; and (d) Knowledge of motor mechanism (Candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle)
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Essential: Matriculation or equivalent pass OR ITI pass in relevant subject.
