The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a Navratna central PSU, has released Advertisement No. CWC/I-Manpower/DR/Rectt/2026/01 for six Assistant Manager and two Junior Executive posts. Registration closes on 15 November 2026. The Junior Executive posts are the easiest way in for most graduates. Any degree works for the General post, and there is no interview. Your online test marks and document verification decide the result.

CWC Junior Executive Eligibility 2026
JE (General): A degree in any discipline, with working knowledge of computer applications and MS Office.
JE (Technical): A B.Sc in Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science or Chemistry, with the same computer knowledge.
You must hold the final mark sheet or certificate on 15 November 2026. Final-year students waiting for results cannot apply. If your university gives CGPA, convert it to a percentage before filling the form.

The upper limit is 28 years as on 15 November 2026. For general category candidates, that means born between 16 November 1998 and 15 November 2008. The minimum age is 18.

Junior Executives are shortlisted 1:3 and Assistant Managers 1:5. For Assistant Manager, the test and interview carry 85:15 weightage. For Junior Executive, the final list depends on your test marks.

A wrong answer costs one-fourth of that question’s marks. A blank costs nothing. The minimum qualifying mark is 40% for unreserved and 35% for reserved categories in the descriptive test, and in Subject Knowledge for the Technical post. There are also cut-offs for each section and for the total, so one weak section can sink a good total. Question papers are in Hindi and English only.
JE (Technical) syllabus: Basic Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics. Zoology covers insects, rodents and insecticides, which fits CWC’s warehouse work.
How to Apply for CWC Recruitment 2026
- Go to the official CWC website and click “Career @CWC (Direct Recruitment)-2026”.
- Open the link for Advertisement No. 2026/01 and choose “New Registration”. You get a registration number and password by email and SMS.
- Fill in your details. Spell your name and your father’s name exactly as in your 10th certificate.
- Upload your photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Check the preview, then click Complete Registration. Nothing can be edited after this.
- Pay the fee online. If no e-receipt is generated, the payment failed, so repeat it.
- Print the application form and e-receipt, and keep them safe.

You also need a live photo through webcam or mobile during the application. The declaration must be in your own handwriting, in English, and not in capital letters. The wording is:
“I, ___ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
If you qualify for more than one post, apply separately for each and pay a separate fee. Two applications for the same post means only the latest counts, and the other fee is lost.
CWC Exam Centres in Tamil Nadu
Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Erode and Thanjavur, plus Puducherry. CWC can still allot another centre, and once you choose, you cannot change it.
Exam Day Rules
- Carry the call letter and a photo ID, original plus photocopy, with the same name as in your application.
- Mobile phones, watches, calculators, belts, caps and metal items are not allowed.
- Full-sleeve tops are not permitted, and footwear should be open-toe or sandals.
- Biometrics are captured at the exam and matched again at document verification.
- Reach early. The test is 3 hours, but you may be at the venue for up to 4 hours.
