Forest Research Institute (Central Government) has released the FRI Recruitment 2026 Notification Announced for 91 vacancies including Library Information Assistant, Technical Assistant (Field/ Lab Research), Stenographer Grade II, Technician (Field/ Lab Research), Storekeeper, Technician (Maintenance), Lower Division Clerk, Forest Guard, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts. Library Information Assistant – Graduation from a recognized university. Bachelor’s degree in library science from a recognized university.
Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research) – bachelor’s degree in science from an accredited university. Must have studied at least one of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Environment, Ecology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, Geology, or Biochemistry.
Stenographer Grade II -12th Class certificate from a recognized Board. Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English/Hindi Stenography. Certificate course in Computer Applications – typing speed of 5 key-depressions per word.
Technician (Field/Lab Research) -10+2 in science stream from a recognized Board with an overall 60% marks or equivalent qualification.
Storekeeper – 12th Pass from a recognized Board.
Technician (Maintenance) – Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognized Board, along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or a certificate course from a government-recognized institute.
Lower Division Clerk – 12th Class certificate from a recognized Board. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Forest Guard – 12th pass in science from a government-recognized board.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Essential: 10th class pass from a recognized board/school. Desirable: 3 years or more experience in the relevant field.
