ICAI Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India:
- Executive Officer – Qualification: Chartered Accountant Experience: Experience not essential Desirable Skill Sets: • In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas – Accounting/ Auditing/Financial Reporting /Direct and Indirect Tax laws / and related laws. • Proficiency in researching and formulating technical papers, policy notes, and standards. • Strong analytical and review capabilities for regulatory evaluation and compliance. • Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination. • A strong command of MS Office, ERP/accounting systems, alongside digital learning tools. • An analytically driven attitude equipped to draft concept notes and discussion papers focusing on evolving tax matters. • Basic understanding of Coding and programming languages. • Understanding of financial markets, investor protection laws, securities regulations (such as SEBI and RBI), and initiatives for financial literacy.
