Income Tax Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for Income Tax Department:
- Tax Assistant – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent, and 2. Data Entry Speed: 8000 key depressions per hour.
- Stenographer Gr-II – 12th class pass or equivalent, 2. Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 wpm 3. Transcription: 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi)
- Multi-Tasking Staff – Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Income Tax Age Limit:
- Tax Assistant – 18 to 27 Years
- Stenographer Gr-II – 18 to 27 Years
- Multi-Tasking Staff – 18 to 27 Years
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
- +5 Years for ST/SC Candidate
- +3 Years for OBC (NCL) Candidate
