Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for Indian Navy:
- Agniveer (Apprentice) – Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India and completed three years diploma course from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following diploma courses:- • Engineering – Marine Engineering & Systems, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial/Production, Maintenance, Machine, Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical, Production/ Automobile, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Repair and Maintenance, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering. • Electrical – Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
TN DHS Age Limit:
- Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027: Candidate should be born between 01 Dec 2004 – 31 May 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer (Apprentice) 02/2027: Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 – 31 Oct 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
- Note:- Candidates born between 01 Dec 2004 – 31 Oct 2009 are eligible to apply for INET 2/2026.
