Educational Qualification

• A graduate degree in any stream from a university or institute recognised by UGC/AICTE.
• Graduation must be completed on or before 1 October 2026, and not before 1 October 2001.

Age Limit

• You must not have an active, terminated or completed apprenticeship contract with another organisation.

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in, “Student Register/Login” section). Registration there is mandatory, and no other mode of application is accepted.
2. After logging in, open nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php, find the LICHFL apprenticeship advertisement and apply. Note down your NATS Enrolment ID for all future correspondence.
3. Check your e-mail for the message from BFSI SSC (info@updates.bfsissc.com) inviting you to give details such as your choice of districts for training.
4. Complete the detailed application and pay the examination fee on beep.bfsissc.com by 1 November 2026.
5. Review every detail, submit, and keep the confirmation and payment receipt.

Important Instructions from the Notification

• The details you enter for exam registration must match those on the NATS portal. Any change may disqualify your candidature.
• Incomplete registration is not valid, and failure to register for the written test disqualifies you from the selection process.
• Keep your NATS and BFSI SSC login IDs and passwords safe, as you will use them again until the apprenticeship ends.

• False information can lead to prosecution and civil consequences, and LIC HFL can reject any application without giving a reason.

LIC HFL Apprentice Application Fee 2026

The fee is paid online to BFSI SSC. It is non-refundable, even if you do not attend the test or are not selected, and it cannot be kept for another exam or adjusted against any other engagement. An application cannot be withdrawn once made.

LIC HFL Apprentice Stipend 2026

Apprentices receive a monthly stipend for the 12-month training period, and the amount depends on the city of posting.

Everyone who completes the apprenticeship gets a Proficiency Certificate from BOAT and can contact the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India for information on jobs in banks, financial services and insurance companies. LIC HFL itself is not obliged to offer you a job.
