Madurai DHS Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for District Health Society:

• Medical Officer (UPHC) – MBBS
• Staff Nurse/MLHP (UHWC, UPHC) – DGNM or B.Sc., Nursing
• Health Inspector (UHWC) – 1. Must have passed plus two with Biology or Botany and Zoology. 2. Must Have passed Tamil Language as a subject in S.S.L.C level. 3. Must possess two years for Multipurpose Health Worker (M) / Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Course Training
• Multipurpose Hospital Worker (UPHC, UHWC) – 8th std Pass (Able to read and write in Tamil)
• Lab. Technician (UPHC) – 1. Must have passed +2 Examination. 2. Must Possess certificate in Medical Lab Technology (CMLT) Course (one year duration) undergone in any institution accredited by the Director of Medical Education. 3.Must have good physique, good vision and capacity to do outdoor work.
• Pharmacist (UPHC) – D.Pharm/B.Pharm/ M.Pharm
• ANM (UPHC) – Should have passed Higher Secondary School Examination and 2 years Auxiliary Nurse Midwife/Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Female) Course only approved DPH Institution.
• Urban Health Manager (UPHC) – 1.M.Sc. Nursing a) Community Health b) Paediatrics c) Obstetrics & Gynaecology (experience in Public Health Preferable) 2. B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 3 yrs experience in Public Health (compulsory)
• Physiotherapist (PHC) – Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
• Driver (UPHC) – 12th + Permanent Driving license of Heavy motor vehicle.
• Account Assistant (CPMU) – B.Com. with Tally
