A total of 821 vacancies have been announced under the Combined Civil Services Examination – II. The vacancies are divided between Group II and Group IIA Services.

Group II Posts
The Group II vacancies include various administrative and executive positions in Tamil Nadu Government departments. Some of the posts included in the notification are Assistant Inspector, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, Probation Officer, Sub-Registrar Grade-II, Jailor, Special Assistant, Special Branch Assistant and Assistant Section Officer, among others.
Group IIA Posts
Group IIA includes a larger number of non-interview service positions. Posts include Senior Inspector, Audit Inspector, Handloom Inspector, Supervisor, Junior Superintendent, Senior Revenue Inspector, Assistant, Accountant, Executive Officer and other posts in different departments.
